Description

Pietranera is a 2023 Piedirosso DOC red wine produced by De Falco Vini in the Vesuvius area.

Varietal: 100% Piedirosso

Organoleptic characteristics: Red, complex and with an obvious aroma of red fruit, black currant and blackberry. Mineral notes, floral aroma and a soft, fine and fresh tannin with a mineral and spicy finish.

Recommended pairings: Roasts and barbecued or stewed meats, goes well with pasta dishes with meat sauce, savory appetizers and fatty cheeses.

Informazioni Aggiuntive

Lavorazione: Hand-picked in boxes from selected vineyards located on the slopes of Vesuvius. The harvest is delayed until the second half of October to allow the grapes to ripen more fully in terms of color and concentration. Management of maceration with a short cold passage to obtain more extracts and aromas and then controlled maceration, again cold, in steel tanks until final maturation. After fermentation is finished, the wine rests for 6 months in steel tanks until final filtration and bottling. Main characteristics are the balance between freshness, minerality and savoriness. Excellent structure and persistence.
