Description

Magmarè is a 2025 Catalanesca IGT white wine produced by De Falco Vini in the Naples area.

Varietal: 100% Catalanesca

Sensory characteristics: Straw yellow color with a wide variety of olfactory sensations, from banana to pineapple, from floral to vanilla. Rich, soft and full, with good taste-olfactory persistence

Suggested pairings: seafood as well as land-based appetizers and first courses, seafood salads; first course fish and shellfish dishes; main courses: grilled squid, octopus and baked white fish

Lavorazione: Sourced from selected vineyards on the slopes of Mount Somma. Hand harvested in crates in mid-September. Maceration suspended in cold press for 1 hour to obtain more extracts and aromas. Soft pressing and controlled cold fermentation in steel tanks. Once fermentation is finished, the wine rests for 2 months on fine lees using the batonnage technique. Maturation for 3 months in steel tanks until final filtration and bottling. Main characteristics are freshness, minerality and sapidity. The ideal balance between nose and mouth highlights the aroma, freshness and persistence
